就一個神奇的經驗理論來看，Windows 8 就像是 Vista 一樣不受大部分人喜愛，但也許 Windows 9 會像 Windows 7 一樣帶來全面性的好評。由目前的 Windows 9 的畫面來看，開始選單似乎也開始走回傳統的設計，同時結合 Windows 8 的優點，加上未來整合 Windows Phone 的功能和 Nokia 的硬碟技術，也許我們能看到更驚豔的新產品出來。

Android 崛起的時代
iOS 雖然靠著 iPad、iPhone 搶下了非常大的行動市埸，不過 Android 有著開放的優勢，各家廠商都推出了大量的 Android 平台裝置，尤其是三星更是在手機銷售上打敗了 Apple。加上 iPad Air 於第四季才開始販售，導致第三季平板的銷量也被 Android 總銷量追過，過去一打十的 Apple 雖然還是創造出許多好產品，但已經沒有像當年 iPhone 和 iPad 剛推出時那般傳說的銷售和市佔。
