「我們四年沒見到你了，歡迎回來。」

當我走進餐廳準備和大學好友聚會時，聽到上面那句話。我們這群男生全都是10年前認識的同學，我們熱絡的握手，就好像再次回到了大學時光。現在大家也都30歲左右，這些日子來，要把全部老朋友聚在一起越來越困難了。普遍情況，都是某人在另外一個國家工作或念書，而唯一能證明他還是我們的朋友而非陌生人，是他們的照片出現在我們Facebook右側聊天室時。

有點遺憾，但或許這就是成人的生活，我們一年年長大，而就算是親密好友，也只能每隔幾個月碰面一次，因為我們全都慢慢長大並各奔東西。

今天是為了慶祝我們一個老同學回來台灣。他在大學時因為興趣所以開始學日文，大學畢業後去東京念研究所，然後在日本最大的一家銀行工作2年。幾個月前，他告訴我們，他辭掉了自己的工作並將搬回台北。

這是他回來後第一個週末，問候之後，我們坐下來開始交換彼此的近況，聽他跟我們說這些年他在日本發生的事情。

晚餐接近尾聲時，我站起來去走廊接一通電話。我正要走回餐廳時，看到他走出廁所。因為周圍沒有其他人，我們更新了更多細節。

「你短期會打算回日本嗎？」我問。

他緩緩搖頭，透露出堅決的態度。

「不會。我愛日本，愛他們大部分的文化、人民，特別是有禮貌且文明的這些生活細節。日本生活在和諧又驚人的現代科技成果中，有一定程度的平衡。但這兩年我在日本讀書，然後到當地最大、最傳統的企業上班後，我可以告訴你，如果我有選擇，我不想繼續在日本工作，或是替日本公司工作。我現在終於明白，為什麼日本在30年前那麼強，但後來又因為那些原因導致他們在過去20年停滯不前。我不覺得它會變更好。」

「舉個例子，在正常情況下，併購會為公司帶來更高效率及能力，因為你擺脫了重疊的部門並淘汰了表現不好的部門。但在日本，特別是傳統企業，每件事都是根基於資歷和階級制度，而他們通常還是不會解雇人。於是，在併購後，會導致更多官僚、更不必要的浪費，更多部門和政治內鬥，導致年輕上班族更不可能往上爬，或是讓他們的聲音被聽到。

當你整個公司或國家在90年代經濟快速成長時，每個人都有明確的目標時，這沒關係。然而，當外部環境改變，而你的成功與否不再基於最好的工程技術、最低的價格或是最好的工廠時，許多亞洲公司，特別是日本開始在迷失的時候，整個公司和國家文化無法適應劇烈的變化。

經過10多年的政治鬥爭，最近的政府試著做一些改變，比如說日圓貶值，這在短期是有幫助，但根本上來看，還有別的事情需要有改變。整個教育體系、封閉的社會、不接受青年想法的企業文化、太固守傳統、高額且持續增加的政府負債，世界排名倒數的生育率，而這些都沒有改變。

或許最大的徵兆是在過去2年裡，我有超過5個日本同事已經辭職，並加入小的新創公司或是自己創業。在東京有個區，現在滿是30歲左右來自Sony、 Panasonic的工程師，他們對環境感到厭倦，想要嘗試不同的東西。東京還有一個很大的三星辦公室，裡面的人幾乎全都是以前Sony和Panasonic的員工。這些在10年前是難以想像的，但現在問題已經逐漸浮上台面。」

今年才從武漢大學工業設計系畢業的樂靜，因手繪美食太真，作品在網路爆紅。觀光局邀她來台自由行，她也將畫台灣小吃。

樂靜先前已在微博上登出的作品，包括武漢特色小吃「麻辣小龍蝦」及小籠包、清蒸鱸魚，都獲得許多網友好評。

交通部觀光局上海辦事處上週邀請樂靜和她同樣喜歡繪畫的同學共3人，來台灣8天自由行，主要行程是吃遍各地美食。

樂靜和同學品嚐了西門町老天祿的滷味，還到九份吃芋圓、到花蓮買公正包子、到台東吃米苔目，在台南享用棺材板、碗粿，還到屏東東港吃海鮮，每一處的美食都讓她難忘。

樂靜明年將出版台灣美食遊記，台灣的小吃將經由手繪方式呈現。

觀光局說，以往為了向大陸民眾推廣台灣觀光，都是邀請旅行業者及媒體來台踩線，但部落客的影響也很大，樂靜是第1位被視為有潛力的部落客，所以邀她來台踩線。

觀光局未來也將邀請不同層面的部落客來台旅遊，協助推展台灣觀光。

【王烱華／台北報導】民進黨立委蕭美琴上午表示，副總統是備位元首，但是2012年，光是副總統吳敦義及其夫人因為出席活動，所派出的維安特勤場次，就有1092次，是總統馬英九及其夫人的717次，多出將近一倍。

立法院外交國防委員會上午聽取「國安局2014年度施政計畫及收支預算案報告」，蕭美琴並指出，光是一個特種勤務，除了先遣人員外，現場還要有內衛、外衛及警方的執行人員，平均都有上百人，簡直是勞民傷財，「吳敦義應該知所進退」。

國安局長蔡得勝表示，總統、副總統都是維安特勤保護的對象，因此對於總統、副總統的活動，國安局也是依規定辦理。
