行政院長江宜樺今（25）日在立法院接受媒體訪問時表示，衛生福利部已要求全台160多家的食用油工廠，必須在本月31日前簽下切結書，政府將從11月1日開始嚴格檢驗，一旦在11月8日後發現還有造假情形，將會直接把業者移送檢、調。

問題食用油風波引發民眾人心惶惶，對於又有醫生跳出來抨擊說，棉籽油以工業用品流程製作，誰能保證過程不會受到汙染？棉籽油本來就不是做來讓人吃的，衛福部一再避談這一點，居心可議。

對此，衛福部長邱文達今天在立法院回應媒體追問棉籽油到底能不能吃時，他僅簡單表示，「這要看棉酚的量，昨天也請了1位專家解釋，現在棉酚驗了都沒有到一個PPM，我想目前是好的」；至於他個人是否該為此事下台，邱文達則說，現在最重要是把事情做好，其他之後再談。

此外，江宜樺今天也表示，衛福部已經要求全台160餘家食用油工廠必須在31日簽切結書，不管產品原料、添加物都必須符合標示，且從11月1日開始嚴格檢驗，若在11月8日以後還有發現造假的情形，衛福部就會直接把不法業者移送檢、調。
